Journey Unveiled: A Year in Review with Clemente Travels

The inaugural year of Clemente Travels has officially concluded! A massive shout-out to everyone who has been a part of this journey, whether by liking our posts, utilizing our services, or simply being a positive force in our lives—your support means the world. As we bid adieu to the past year, let's take a quick peek behind the scenes.

Highlights

  1. This spring, I delved into two industry events, one in Atlanta, Georgia, and the other in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The experience was a fantastic opportunity to connect with global partners, engage with industry leaders, and enhance my business strategies for the benefit of all clients.

  2. Around this time last year, I set a bold goal: hosting my inaugural group trip within 3-5 years. With incredible support from friends and fellow advisors, I took the plunge and launched a small group adventure to Greece—anticipated to sell out! Subsequently, a second group trip emerged—a river cruise along the Danube slated for December 2024.

  3. Over the past year, I successfully booked over 30 trips, with Ireland, Italy, and Mexico leading the pack in terms of popular destinations. My expertise expanded to include France in Europe and Costa Rica in South America.

Challenges:

  1. Early in the year, I identified shortcomings in my initial itineraries, lacking essential components for client success like attached documents and maps. Swiftly transitioning platforms, I revamped numerous plans to ensure smoother travels for future clients.

  2. An essential lesson learned: one can never double or triple-check enough. When in doubt, share it out! Recognizing that not all travel tips are common knowledge, I implemented specific procedures, emails, and guides to facilitate easier navigation for clients during their journeys.

  3. Balancing various trips, meetings, and ongoing education became a priority. Establishing a dedicated day each month for continuous learning, partner check-ins, and internal procedure refinement has proven crucial for a streamlined experience.

Client Testimonial

Hannah planned an amazing multi-city European vacation (London, Paris, Rome) for my family of 3! This was our first time traveling internationally with our young child and Hannah made sure all the details were taken care of so we could focus on making memories and traveling with such a young child. She not only carries a level of expertise due to her own travels but also is highly educated on different airlines, food recommendations, hotels, etc. The hotels she chose for us were central, clean, kind, and had amazing views. Having a travel advisor with all that knowledge when traveling a few states away is nice but having them when traveling internationally, in my opinion, is essential. We wouldn’t have had such a stress-free trip without her. As a mom, I feel forever indebted to her for making our trip so stress-free for me. Everyone asks me if a travel advisor is necessary when traveling, and I say, yes, but more specifically- Clemente Travels is the answer.

Behind the Scenes

Ensuring our clients have the best possible travel experience is our ongoing mission at Clemente Travels. To further this commitment, I've welcomed Dan as a fellow advisor to refine details and enhance communication. Additionally, a client referral program has been introduced to express gratitude for the unwavering support.

Beyond client engagement, fostering a robust community is a priority. We've joined the local Canton Chamber of Commerce, attending events to connect with new faces in the Stark area. Regular volunteering at the German Family Society in Brimfield and participation in various events further contribute to community building.

As we look ahead to 2024, I'm thrilled about our group trips in September and December. The plan is to strengthen these relationships and continue hosting escorted groups, perhaps venturing onto new continents like South America, Asia, or Africa. While our specialty remains crafting tailor-made European adventures, we're also broadening our horizons to master the realms of All-Inclusive getaways and the cruise scene—be it exhibitions, oceans, or rivers. Lastly, ongoing education remains a focus, with plans to attend industry events in Dallas and Denver.

In closing, immense gratitude once again—I wouldn't have come this far without each and every one of you. A simple ask: share your travel stories in the comments, spread the word, or connect us with friends and family. Through your support, we thrive.

By the way, our newsletter, "The Wanderers," is live and operational, so ensure you're signed up to receive updates on travel updates, blog post releases, and exclusive insider tips.

Here's to a fabulous 2024—Wine, Dine, and Wander together!

Cheers,

Hannah
